At the core of this lamp is a quartz tube inside a fully sealed housing. Quartz is tough—it can handle rapid heating and cooling without cracking. And that seal? It’s the hero. The shortwave infrared element is built for continuous use, and the whole sealed body is tough enough to stand up to the environment. Plus, we went with an R7s connector because it’s a standard, reliable choice. It’s quick to wire up and holds strong, even with all those lamp swaps on the line.
